So I’ve been working a lot with getting photos to print on glass and I got an image to print on sheet glass and then i tried printing on blown glass…it was a really long process but i got it to work.
I had to make a hot glue border on the blown form so that the chemical would only coat in the area that I wanted it to and when I exposed the image I had to roll the form around so it was evenly exposed
I coated it a little unevenly but I like the way it turned out, I made the pedastals out of cement and pvc pipe and then painted them a matte black

The assignment was about our self image so I did the piece on the fact that I’m always smiling but only about 30% of the time that I’m smiling I’m actually happy…so the images that I put on the glass were from pictures that I found of myself when I’m smiling when im tired, happy, angry, and drunk
I think I might use this same process again for my next assignment I really liked the way the material looked on the glass.
